Thanks for the pics Mark-it really puts things in perspective. I was over at BB late yesterday and the road is open again. There is a path of huge trees pulled up by their roots all the way from Booth Lake to just west of BB. We had a number of them on Shorewood Drive, which is why our basement got flooded. Fortunately, no one's houses got destroyed in our area, but I guess a few vehicles were crunched. Power out for hours and 7.5 inches of rain in basement! We are still finding stuff that's wet and nearly destroyed. Jay is putting in a new hot water heater this weekend. I filled our two camping shower bags yesterday and used one last night. It didn't get as warm as the instructions said it would, but it wasn't cold. Between that, the lake and the cold water in the house, we don't feel too gross. Although, since the mosquitoes are overwhelming us, having to wear bug spray at all times is making the situation alot worse. Something to tell the grandkids about!

I am moving my work office again and Lord knows how bad the house will be for how long! We have alot of stuff stored in that basement that now needs to make its way out! Just checked my machine and saw that I had a message from Michele last night that probably came in during our boat ride. It was such a nice night we decided to take a break. The kids are going to Jack Johnson at Alpine tonight and hopefully will not get rained on. Its very nice and breezy right now. Better get back to work-hope to talk to some of you soon! Love, Susan
