Freya and I will be participating in a March of Dimes WalkAmerica charity event in late April (the 28th--I don't remember off-hand if that's during the time G&J are here, or not). March of Dimes is a great organization that helps in funding the prevention of premature births, getting out healthy pregnancy information to women, and provides a great deal of assistance to families of premature babies.
March of Dimes touched my life while I was pregnant with Freya, because a woman I know who was due at the same time as I was found out that her daughter was affected with a serious genetic disorder. March of Dimes was a huge resource and support to her and her husband as they fought for their little girl's life, and then helped them deal with their grief after her loss.
