Hi All-I am trying Maura's hint of porch blogging. So far, so good. I came outside about 6:30 with my coffee and the weeds started calling me. I am not dressed for outside work,so I made myself stop for awhile. Glad to hear of your exciting win, Magda. I can't imagine being out in that cold wind!

We are halfway into a really nice weekend here. Colin asked to come home for the last time before finals, so he played golf with us yesterday and will play again today with Bridget. She is busy with final preps for prom and we are trying to get enough done around the yard/house to keep from looking like we're not interested. This being gone from 7:15 to 5:30 every day takes up alot of my yard time. My immediate boss just announced that he is taking a new job in a different area of Aurora. He has been a buffer from the evil psychologist that I have to contend with, so he is trying to figure out how to position me when he leaves. Several different options have been tossed out, one of which is a big promotion, but I am not sure he thinks it is a good time politically for that . We shall see. I am not sure I want to turn my life over to Aurora, but I want to stay there for now.

We went out for dinner last night for Bridget's birthday. Tried to go to Popeye's but LG was filled with Prom goers and there was a line way out into the street. We went over to the Grand Geneva instead for Prime Rib buffet and rolled out of there. Even Colin felt sick from eating too much and he usually takes any opportunity to each alot of good food.

Sounds like Finn isn't playing soccer with as much heart as Bridget. We are telling her its a good thing her Prom dress is long and covers all her bruises. Did he eat all those cheeseburgers? I thought I was done with those interminable games, but here we are again.

Well, now I know I can do this outside, so maybe it will get easier to get something in here regularly. Great to hear from Kevin and Lyn. How was Ireland? Besides more expensive, I bet. I can just imagine how cool Declan is looking these days. All these family musicians are very impressive.

I better go pull a few more weeds before someone gets up and starts laughing at me. Hope everyone has a great week.
