okay--the pictures are the backyard with hottub, concrete slab and new pergola and privacy/sun shade.
and amongst all that work, we hired some folks to paint the house! a new gold, brown andcinnamon accents. we like it--our neighbors have mixed feelings--it is very differnet from beige on beige that it was. but it looks great both with the red brick and the back slab. YAY!

we are hoping to hit the road and come to wisconsin with the dogs--probably the week of july 4. so pencil that in on y9our calendars....and hopefully, that will coincide with K and L's trip back to the midwest.
