Hi, everyone! I realize the Idaho contingent has been a little quiet lately, but we've had those houseguests... Hee hee. We had a really good visit with Grandma & Grandpa this past week and a half. Freya has come a long way, baby, in her socializing, so she sat in Grandma's lap and read stories a lot, and she laughed at Grandpa and his jokes.
We got all our gardening started. The beds are in and planted. We realized on Saturday that the little seedlings were getting too much sun, and Matt and I debated on the best method to create temporary shade structures until the little plants were better established. We hit on the very hip and trendy method of using LP jackets...yes, we're using album sleeves to shade our veggies. I really like The Who double album that shades the onions. That there is a space maximizer! Hopefully, we didn't use anything too collectible. We figured the Cocktail soundtrack was a pretty good one to get rid of, though seeing Tom Cruise smirking at me from the garden does turn my stomach a little.
